B)Reproduce:
A female Black Panther will often have their cubs at around 2 and a half years old. The gestation period is between 90-105 days. She will raise the cubs on her own. When the cubs are born their eyes are closed and they are born spotted grey fur. Male Black Panthers will live alone for almost all of their lives. They will only stay with the female for a few days during the mating period then they leave the female to have the cub and raise it all by her self. Males usually do not mate until they are 3 or 4 years old. Outside of mating season males and females usually try to avoid eatch other. When a female is ready to mate she will make sawing noises to attract a male. She also leaves behind a scent for males to follow. Fights can occur between males during mating season. mating can take place at anytime of the year. The mother panther will find a safe birth den in a cave, pile of rocks, or in a hollow treee before delievery.

C) Respond To Its Environment

Their black fur camouflages them in both the forest and the darkness of the night. They almost become invisible in the dark of the night. They are excellent climbers because they need to climb up trees to stay away from predators such as hyenas and lions. It also climbs up trees to bring their prey up there to eat them away from other animals.
